Teeth whitening is a safe and effective method of whitening your natural teeth by several shades.

The process involves a dentist taking some moulds for custom-made trays. You will be provided with whitening solution to apply to your teeth via the trays. Patients often notice their teeth beginning to lighten after a few days, but the process can take up to 14 days. You will be monitored by your dentist throughout the treatment.

Internal Teeth Whitening

What is Internal Bleaching?

Internal bleaching is the process of bleaching or whitening a tooth from the inside out. This may be carried as a result of trauma, caries or root canal treatment resulting in the discolouration of the tooth from the inside to the outside.

A small hole is made in the back of the tooth where whitening solution is placed and sealed with a temporary filling. This will then be reviewed, and once the dentist and patient are happy with the shade, the tooth will be sealed with a permanent filling.
