More commonly known as Root Canal Treatment, an Endodontic Procedure will be suggested by Dr Sheikh if there is a case of inflammation or infection inside one of your teeth. By cleaning out and filling the inside of the tooth, the problem can be taken care of without the need for further surgery or removal.

At Bawtry Dental we are uniquely qualified to provide the highest standard of care and treatment when it comes to Endodontic procedures. Dr Sheikh is set to complete his Masters in Endodontics. The aim of this form of treatment is to avoid extraction and save the natural teeth. Dr Sheikh endeavours to give his patients’ teeth the best possible chance of survival by utilising his extensive experience, structured means and a patient-centred approach to providing advanced endodontic therapies.

In all cases, Dr Sheikh uses state-of-the-art equipment, including high-powered microscope digital radiography, rotary/ultrasonic preparation and thermal obituration. A combination of his knowledge and execution will ultimately contribute to the delivery of good-quality care and optimal clinical outcome to his patients.
